Marriage and Divorce
A very special niche of my practice is devoted to helping women navigate marriage. I am deeply nuanced to the complexity of making a marriage work, with or without children. If you are a mother navigating a challenging stage of your marriage, you know that nothing triggers inequality in a marriage like motherhood: quite simply because raising children still requires more from the woman than it does from her husband. Motherhood also requires juggling a myriad of other things. This places a strain on marriage in ways that are difficult to explain to a guy without first getting a handle on it yourself.
When divorce seems inevitable, it is essential that a woman be prepared for the process, as well as her journey after divorce. This preparation, and the way she walks the year after her divorce, will determine the quality of the next part of her life journey.
